Overnight along the PATH line between the Hackensack River and Journal Square, RailWorks Track Services replaced about 800 feet of rail, including a new crossover that lets trains move between the H and G lines. The old rail and ballast were stripped out and rebuilt from the foundation up. Bay Crane lifted in each new panel before sunrise so the line could reopen on schedule. It’s part of a series of short overnight shutdowns PATH is using to modernize this corridor section by section without ta
