Here’s a wee ode to one of my favourite films when I was growing up - the 1986 cult classic “Highlander” Apparently all of Sir Sean Connery’s scenes had to be filmed in a week, due to Connery’s schedule. He apparently had a bet with director Russell Mulcahy that they would not finish in seven days, but Mulcahy won the bet. Connery earned $1 million for his week’s work. Apparently Kurt Russell was originally cast as Connor MacLeod, but he pulled out of the project - leaving it open for the legend
